Unity means bringing together and coordinating different individuals and groups despite their differences. National unity means that the people of a country, despite differences in ethnicity, language, culture, and customs, preserve their shared identity and come together to form one nation. Iran is a land of diverse ethnic groups and cultures, and this diversity is an important part of its cultural identity. In this project, the six ethnic groups of Persians, Turks, Kurds, Lurs, Arabs, and Baloch are introduced through their distinctive cultural symbols and elements. Each poster represents the identity and characteristics of one ethnic group, while placing them all together illustrates the concept of unity in diversity. The choice of a postage stamp format also emphasizes the connection between these diverse identities and the national identity of Iran. Ultimately, this collection shows that cultural differences are not causes of division, but valuable parts of a shared identity.
